LIGHTHOUSE ATTORNEY SERVICE (also known as Lighthouse Process Serving) was originally created because I had been a landlord. Yes I know that sounds odd, but when I needed someone to serve papers on non-paying tenants (which thankfully occurred rarely), I was impressed with how expensive process serving was.

So we created the company and now, a number of years later, we're still among the lowest-priced providers of process serving in the state. Some people say we're also among the best. I prefer to say that we try harder and more diligently than most.

Unlike most companies in our field, we don't have a specific number of attempts after which we quit unless you want to pay more money. We try until it makes no sense. That can be for a number of reasons and we always discuss this with you before “pulling the plug.” Sometimes that means two attempts. At other times it can mean 5 or 6. The important thing is we're your partner and we work with you to get the job done. And if someone's trying to be evasive, we help you with our affidavit, to get an order for “service by alternative means.”
